About DanWatch
DanWatch is a corporate watchdog and research organisation working to document the consequences of investments, procurement, trade and production in third world countries.We aim to highlight exploitation of labour and natural resources in developing nations, the B.R.I.C.S. countries and other countries acting as a host to western workplaces, investments, production or trade.
DanWatch is administered by a trust fund and is independent of political, governmental and private sector interests.
Our mission:

- To expose the links between the activities of western and multinational corporations and investment funds and the violation of human rights, corruption, environmental destruction and conflicts abroad.
- To investigate or supervise investigations and campaigns that can stimulate critical examination through public debate and provide consumers with the means to act responsibly towards globalized trade with resources and labour.
- To act as a independent research centre/media with a focus on human rights, environment, conflicts and corruption globally, while ensuring that these topics are ensured a continuous priority.
